This Veteran’s Day weekend, take a heartfelt journey back to the 1940’s as we honor the heroes of World War II with a swingin’ celebration of the music that uplifted a nation and marched us to victory. In tribute to the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, the NH Jazz Orchestra, special guest vocalist Taylor O’Donnell, and dancers from the Institute bring to life the timeless sounds of Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, The Andrews Sisters, Duke Ellington, and more – the very soundtrack of the ‘Greatest Generation’! Join us for an unforgettable evening of soaring harmonies, driving rhythms, and dazzling visual flair in this USO-style spectacle as we salute those who served with the power and joy of America’s Big Band Era. From “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy” to “In the Mood” this is more than a concert – it’s a stirring salute to the veterans who shaped our nation’s history and the music that carried us through with courage, unity, and the enduring spirit of freedom.
